Roger's Ramblings

I use the person in the above video a lot to describe why I am the way that I am. Ronnie Lott was a football player who had a broken finger than protruded out of the skin. And rather than miss a game he chose to have his finger amputated. He loved the game of football so much that he sacrificed part of his body. He would have gotten paid the same amount of money whether he played the rest of the year or not. But he refused to let something get in the way of what he loved. That is the example I use when people ask me why I approach things the way I do. I want to have the same conviction that Ronnie Lott had. Like Ronnie Lott I do not understand the concept of giving up. I do not understand the concepts of fear and doubt and I refuse to lose. I will win or die trying at whatever I choose to do.
